Second Shift The Second Shift program will run for two session of ten weeks each, one session from October until mid December and the second session will run from January until the third week in March. The idea is to have kids attend both 10 week sessions in order to learn the skills needed to make the transition to House League hockey the following year. This will provide the “try before you buy” option that so many parents want to explore with their children, while preparing their children to play house league hockey the following season. The program is being offered to all children ages 5- 17, the age group that is eligible to play at all levels of House League hockey. The idea behind the program is to deliver hockey to the group of parents that have mis-givings around their children making a full-time committment to the sport and also to address the declining registration numbers in house league hockey. Schedule The program is being planned to run for 2 hours on Saturdays 12 -1 PM or 1 -2 PM Cost $100 per 10 week session payable by cash or cheque on the first date of the session
